The magic tunes are slamming in at a rampant pace. I had to take a day off work at one point because I was getting too stressed that the listening pile was getting out of control. New Radiohead, James Blake, Kaytranada, El Michels Affair, Bacao Rhythm & Steel, RJD2, Flowering Inferno, Gold Panda and on and on all wishing to trek through the ear canals.
Also, with Winter Gone, musicians and beat makers seem less scared to come through Toronto, so we have Kaytranada, Kamasi Washington, Anderson Paak & Hiatus Kaiyote to name a few concerts on the visible horizon. YeeeeeHooooo! Get tickets if you're around...especially if you illegally downloaded their albums...which of course you would never do.
