Oh sweet glory. Monday arrived, the alarm did not sound and got to wake up at 9:23am. Employment e-mails of great pertinence are being ignored for the great event of vacation is underway.
All of us prize these blocks of time that unlock portions of our soul no matter how much satisfaction we get from working our buns off for seemingly endless months in succession.
The missus and I recently procured a home and our pockets are empty. This will be the first “staycation” of my life and am perfectly fine with that. Toronto is grand in the summer. The PanAm games are underway, so we’ll check out some gymnastics and watch many of the billion free concerts happening (will do a separate mix for these folks probably). So far we've seen BadBadNotGood, Ana Tijoux & Ondatropica.
