After a brief much needed time off sorting family issues, Mind (UK) returns with an iconic show that is inspired by the need to merge the frenetic energy of drum and bass with the enigmatic aura of psychic exploration. Psionic Communications embraces a high-energy experience from the physical realm into a mind bending world.
The show opens with an eerie ambient soundscape creating a sense of otherworldly anticipation. Ethereal synth pads wash over you like whispers from a distant universal intelligence. As the show progresses, intricate percussive patterns and shimmering synths start to weave through the mix building up the ghostly tension. These tracks introduce glitchy fragmented samples that echo as if communicating from another dimension. Some elements add a layer of mystique suggesting a dialogue between minds across vast distances layering complex modulations that twist and turn unpredictably.
