Your Exotica 2

Allow the mind to roam hither and thither on the trade winds of the South Seas as we visit the surf-dappled islands of Polynesia and the deepest Ceylonese jungles in this celebration of Exotica.

Recorded as a continuous mix for Waiheke Radio (Waihekeradio.org.nz) these gentle tunes range from Dorothy Lamour's 1943 classic Lovely Hula Hands (a b-side, no less) to Ixtahuele's striking take on a recently discovered cache of lost sheet music by the legendary Eden Ahbez.
