Process Jam - Friday Session 1

Process Jam is a project which brings together musicians, artists and makers to improvise and collaborate, producing a range of unexpected sounds and objects.

For a weekend in late November 2024, Merseyway Workshop transformed its pottery studio into a performance space and gathered a wide range of artists to take part in a series of exercises, discussions and jam sessions, culminating in a performance in front of an audience.

The artists were selected via an open call-out from a range of disciplines including saxophone, pottery, percussion, textiles and celtic harp. This exhibition showcases some of the creations from the Process Jam sessions. This project is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
