Peace in Prison
Original date: Thursday, February 19, 2009
"For so many years I rejected the System. As a rebellious young man and I did whatever I desired, which eventually landed me in the system called prison. Even in jail I still lived a rebellious life by doing little things to thumb my nose at rules and regulations. After I woke up, I realized that I was human and could live inside of the System called society. The new way has been a difficult, but not so rebellious walk. Whenever this old way of being rebellious arises, it is a sign that more Healing is at hand. I welcome all of me now in this sacred circle of love that resides inside of me and outside of me. This Healing Love is everywhere and available to All."
Kenny Johnson devoted his life to crime, beginning in his early teens. He served over twenty years in various city, county, state, and federal prisons. Now, through his work with This Sacred Space Foundation, Kenny brings grace to prisoners inside and outside prison.
