George Fielding BEM
An honour and a privilege!
George is a young social care leader and an advocate of life! I saw him speak at a conference for special educational needs specialists when he'd just left uni, and I remember thinking he held the stage like a prime minister.
He talks about Nina Simone and Van Morrison, being the first ever wheelchair user at both his schools, the only song he knows written from the perspective of a person with a disability, and what he loves (despite everything he hates) about social care.
He’s also a forensic listener of song lyrics, which is useful for me as they don’t seem to go into my head...
