This Rude boy set is a good companion to the "Moonstomp" mixtape and I confess, a few of these were released in '79 so it's not strictly all *80's.

This celebrates some wonderful double AA singles, including "Nite Klub / Rudy" by The Specials, "Hands Off... / Twist & Crawl" by The Beat and "King / Food For Thought" by UB40. There are other ska favourites from that era by Madness, Bad Manners and The Selecter. The Reggae influence on Punk is represented by The Clash and The Ruts. Bob Marleys anthemic Buffalo Soldier. Top 20 UK chart hits from Errol Dunkley, Black Slate, Eddy Grant and Third World. Classic dancehall from Barrington Levy, toasting from Clint Eastwood & General Saint, and a favourite Black Uhuru tune.
