22 Alternative Dance favourites following the not so new wave into post, post-punk.
In the mid 80's "Kick" by INXS was one of my favourite albums, and I was slightly obsessed with the new wave of Glasgow bands Hipsway and especially Love & Money. Fun fact: I once passed out drunk on the floor of "Skin" from Hipsways London flat.
Includes tracks from early 80's favourites The Cure, Siouxsie & New Order, that were never more dance floor friendly. Likewise, The The and The Fall. Pixies go pop and Iggy Pop goes new wave. Sisters of Mercy and Jesus & Mary Chain crossover to the UK Top 10. California funk from Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Faith No More, Madchester sounds of Happy Mondays & Stone Roses, Indie Pop vibes from Prefab Sprout & Aztec Camera. The Smiths.

Fantastic selections and mixing! I was spinning 95% of these tracks at club Man Ray in Boston at the time, and incessantly buying all the UK import 12" singles I could get my hands on! So this was a wonderful flashback to an amazing era!
