Someplace, Somewhere with Lou

A lovely wee getting to know each other on Main FM today with some excellent music and stories important and ridiculous.

Laura Louise Ó Duibhir (Lou) is a queer, autistic recovering psychologist, lover and a fighter (of freedoms!), and creative writer. She runs a wellness clinic using biodynamic breath and bodywork to support clients to heal from hurts of the mind or muscles, and has developed the very first ever breathwork modality specifically for neurodivergent folks. She founded the Dragonflies and Mudpies Nature Kids bush school that runs every Wednesday at the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens and runs art therapy sessions for queer folk.

She writes books that her Gunditjmara children illustrate. She built a permie farm on Gunditjmara Country before the family lost everything in a freak storm.

Lou was runner up young Victorian in her twenties and was featured on the cover of the Yellow Pages for her community work.
