MACHINE 17 :: BLOOD & TEARS

New kid on the Eastern block? Not so much, Blood & Tears founder Marco Danneberg has been dj’ing around the East German club and party circuit since 1995. Eastern? Yes. New? Not even slightly. From 2007 the Blood and Tears moniker was all he went by and in 2012 Danneberg stopped dj’ing, in an effort to realize a sole focus on his production. A pure studio project. Now focussing on darker undertones of techno, revealing heavier lines, components, architecture. Blood & Tears is quickly realizing his ultimate aim; moving beyond production of audio tools and components, into something identifiable as “that Blood & Tears sound”. Blood & Tears remix work appears to date on labels Karate Klub, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Logism, Freitag Limited, Tanz Factory, Naked Lunch, Meleon Music or Local Sound Network.
