With Interactive 2014, MICK and Tristan Walker successfully make their way to the apex of music technology nerdery. On this mix, the DJs tapped leaders in the tech, social and entrepreneurial spaces to curate the twenty-nine tracks. Judging by the results, it seems these ambitious techies have a thing for the hustle of hip-hop and dance music. Some of our favorites include Jenna Wortham of The New York Times' choice of Aaliyah’s “Are You That Somebody,” and Foursquare founder Dennis Crowley’s selection of Cam'ron and Jay Z’s Welcome To New York City.” There are some fun indie selections along the way, too, including Chromatics' "Cherry” and Yes You's “So Much To Give.” Make way for the future of crowdsourced DJ sets, you guys.
