Sass is one of my all time favs . . actually it's such a modest (hope that's the right word?!) record . cool voice, simple bass line and synths and then that drum part that gives the tune its liveliness . . in funk we trust indeed!!
Modest, i like that, rated but understated,, lol,, you have the best evening DJ Clone Funk, and a great weekend ahead,, Enjoy
likewise Stephanie, till the next time .. ...
someone mention a Beer, i'll drink to that,,, groovin from the outset with Empress, claasic,,,,,, Bounce, Rock,Skate is new to me, i want that one fo myself, (butt shakin goody),,,,,,,,,i know the Strikers but not the track here, Cool,,,,,,,, also Coffe & Cigarettes is another new one on me, the only others i know were Erykah, Earth, Wind & Fire, Eddie Henderson, and Toto, love the Toto track it features Chaka Khan, she is very special to me, i just love her voice,,,, where did you pull Craig and Them out of, its listed as Coffee and Cigarettes. cool i do like it, i am just gonna enjoy the rest of this before i say any thing else,, lovin where its goin so far,, i will comment after i listen through,, Later.
omg i don't know where i found that . . . my attic jampacked with records: dollar bin finds in the time when such bins existed, 12 inches (disco house, techno; the whole bunch), jazz, funk, you name it, bootlegs, white labels. really i have to climb over the piles to get to my turntables. and you what's the best past? it isn't cateloged hahaha . . my sets are compiled of whatever comes along first . . . yihaa chaos!!
Work just got a whole lot better, thanks Mr. DJ!
thank you Gadzooki, for tuning in! ;)
