Man, I just came across this (a bit late I know!) but I love the way you have kept it super funkee and moved from 70's funky jazz into disco and back again. A continuous groove throughout had me dancing at my desk. I also just bought vinyl copies of the Bobby Hughes and Butter Foundation tracks. So besides turning me on you've also cost me money! Stay funkee brother man.
yess, great choices! the records you chose are relatively cheap but top stuff . . the flipside of that butter foundation 12 inch is an epic trip hop gem!!!!
Listened to Hot Pants and the Mixcloud just moves me along to the next show - we are getting relaxed here - Before I visited MXC over ayear ago I would NOT have entertained the thought of Jazz - now I see to devour it - it is such a BIG genre, and you have captured some of the elements here - especially like Fenway funk - tame and soothing - another great set my friend so glad I allowed MXC to move me further into your work :)
