Ah, New Year: always a marvellous occasion for the utmost hedonistic exploits! Right after NYE on Earth, still slightly lightheaded, we embarked on a journey to a tiny planet where one single year constitutes 43 Earthly years – we were booked for a new year’s party there, and we reckoned it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The place itself was horridly cold but the party – as most of this planet’s life – took place below ground. After having descended into deep subterranean levels, we reached an amazing dance establishment that was cosy and warm. Hot even. And massively crowded. After the event, bonkers as always, we figured we had only played a relatively short set, but as time seemed to progress slower at that place, the crowd was totally wrecked. As if they had partied for six consecutive days. Anyways, happy 2024, Earthlings, and remember: somewhere else in this universe, a whole year in our measurement of time is simply diminutive.
