BEAT KONG is a DJ set inspired by the atmosphere of the Sitges Fantastic Film Festival. The emblem of this Festival is King Kong. With this wordplay I try to pay tribute to a fantasy world where the geeky, the bizarre and the exaggerated beats have a place. The energy levels evolve like a roller coaster that takes you to the top and then falls sharply and gives you some respite.
The carefully selected songs, as well as some horror-related sound effects, try to guide the listener to smell and feel the spirit of this Festival.
