ILR

When I was 14 I would write a list in the back of my exercise book every maths class of 10 things I liked. I think 'tall dwarfs' and 'poetry' made every list. and 'rain' was always on there. I grew up in one of the sunniest places in the country, but there were rainy day pleasures too.

ILR ('I Like Rain', from the Chills song) was a secret message between me and my dear friend Fraser back then, sometimes appearing in my maths book too, expanding into other messages I clung to.

These rainy days I fell into making a rain-themed mix which has become this four-and-a-half-hour sprawl. I split it into four parts, uploaded before this, but here's the whole thing, if anyone wants a soundtrack to a steady rainy day.
