LR161 feat. Prequel

LR161

8.12.17

We had Prequel in the house this week for his deubt in San Francisco. A true vinyl head to the very core, Prequel has been DJing for nearly 15 years and is one of our favorite artists out of Melbourne, a city that has such a unique, blossoming scene in Australia at the moment. His music was first brought to our attention at a park party a year ago and we were floored to say the least. 'Polite Strangers' and 'Freedom Jazz Dance' both from South London label Rhythm Section International are two refreshing records in a world of noise and recycled sounds that stand out for their organic nature and equal-part nod to the past and the future.

It was a blast catching up with the self-proclaimed ' Bradley Zero Fan Club President,' about his adventures and antics on his summer tour that just wrapped up in Europe. Plus we got to hear a heap of rare house and disco cuts from this genuine soul, who by the way can DJ like a boss!
