Leon D Podcast - Early Influences Part 1

I started out in radio in the late 90's doing a bunch of Death 'til Dawns on Radio Active with with my buddy Felix Five. I went on to host my own mid-week Low Rise show, then on to co-host the Saturday night Housing Project with DJ Cuffy until 2003.

I haven't done a radio show in years and it was suggested by our good friend Jane that Felix and I have a Podcast Battle. Jane came up with the theme "Early Influences" and the battle was on!

As I've had a few musical chapters it became evident I couldn't fit all influences into the 1 hour podcast format so I chose to do it in two parts.

This is Part 1 covering my first musical memory, through my rock days and on to my first introductions to electronic music.

These aren't necessarily my favourite tracks from the artists but each track holds special meaning to me and has inspired me on my musical journey.
