Xmas 2002

One from the archives! There's something so raw listening to vinyl, hearing the dj push the platter to correct, maybe a pop or two...being reminded that there is actually a person on the other side, and not a laptop. I still haven't crossed over to laptop dj'ing, and spin on CDs. Perhaps it's considered wasteful, but it's the whole experience of manipulating the platter that I love, watching the crowd & making a face as I fuck up, or have a sweet transition with a huge grin on my face making eye contact with a dancer. It's friggen magical.
