MFA Radio

Welcome to MFA Radio, two hours of music playlisted by students graduating from the program along with members of staff. There’s no need to re-hash any tired cliches about the fruitful (and sometimes strained) relationship between pop-music and art school, what we’re presenting here is far looser than that. Some of what’s included relates directly to an artist’s practice, while other songs are favored soundtracks for those bleary-eyed nights spent writing methodology reports.

Threads include icecream themes, punk, indy, Persian blues, Chinese classical, dub, jungle, Miami Bass, cumbia, salsa, industrial, electro, no-wave, proto-techno, dancehall, and more.
