Arkaik is 24 years old and has been mixing drum and bass for over 9 years, The love of the rolling drums and thick sub basslines, shows within his mixing style.
He Started his love for drum and bass back at school after listening to Roni Size 'New Forms' album, and after purchasing some Technics 1210's and a cheap mixer he was mixing every evening. During university he ran a night "BassRush" in Farnham and shortly after that he was a resident for "Bassment" in Reading.
After university Arkaik started producing rolling, liquid drum and bass and after purchasing a copy of logic he was on his way trying to find a niche to fill in the drum n bass market. With forthcoming releases on 'Dispatch Recordings' and 'Different Music' in 2011, he is a name to look out for.
Arkaik has played before such names as Break, Icicle, Jubei, John B, Shy Fx. He Has also played on radio stations such as Rude FM, Uk's Finest, Protokol Radio, Wax FM and Darkwax.
