Synthication is a DJ who is not afraid to show his high energy personality on the decks. Hailing from Penang island, his first foray into DJ-ing back in 2012, started with bringing Dubstep to the local party scene. Currently, his love for Dubstep & Big Room electronica hasn't changed but the knowledge & experience over the years have allowed him to incorporate other genres including Jersey Club, Future Bass, Trap & Future House into his dynamic DJ sets.
Kay Jyn's genre-defying sound is a reflection of his boundless creativity and his commitment to exploring new ideas. His music curation brings nuance and sophistication to an otherwise predictable and boring "EDM style" DJ sets played elsewhere in the northern region. This earned him the title of "Hype man" in Jom Layan Records, as he never fails to get the dance floor jumping.
As of March 2020, Synthication was inducted into Jom Layan Records alongside Slick Z & Lightlow where all three of them became its founding members.
