Idris and Adele's Move in the Rain Set - (10/18/22)

The goal of this October 18th set was to really match the energy and vibe of "We All Move Together."

Idris Elba's voice and sample throughout is activism, mutual aid, love right now. "We All Move Together" is not just about dancing. I've been in a period of pretty in-depth isolation but more recently in a place of strength building. "Set Fire to the Rain" is a call to action as well. A moving on.

This has some clunk amidst the good parts. Probably a reminder here that i have go-tos that end up in too many sessions.

This one is completely unplanned improv and also one of the first inklings pointing to more planning. Case in point, the last minute clunky inclusion of About Work... That song holds it own anywhere, but have better ways to play with it, bring it in, etc. (See the "About Work the Sun Up" mix for a better use.)
