This week's edition features classics by BB King & Gary Moore, and in the lead up to Helen Shapiro's 70th birthday next month a great song from her Blues repertoire (the first of a weekly feature). We have the new singles by Karena K, the Tanya Piche Blues Band and The Rides; along with new & recent releases by The Rhythm Express, Mungo Jerry, The Boom Guitars; Andres Roots & Anneli Kadakas and Robin Bibi (who incidentally was Helen Shapiro's guitarist at one point!). Brigitte Rios Purdy makes her Soul of The Blues debut with a tribute to BB King - and these's a thought-provoking song by HayMarket Riot from a project engaging homeless people in songwriting.
