For the last decade, the creative foundation of The Demonstration series personally for me is how far can I push and possibility, break the rules as a DJ? How much can I shock and surprised you the listener, with artists, tracks, and genres that on paper, should not share the same sonic airspace? But what I have to keep reminding my never-ending, forever overthinking, creative self is that you the listener at the end of the day, are not into critiquing these musical science equations. All that matters to you is “does the music make me move?” And 5 volumes and 10 years in, this series has stayed “Devoted to the art of moving butts” - A Tribe Called Quest.
