Slow Motion Replay is a very cool musical project straight from Japan. Cool, in the same sense that Be Bop was cool in the 50's, Bossa Nova in the 60's, Soul Music in the 70's, Jazz Fusion in the 80's and Acid Jazz in the 90's. Cool, in the sense of that all the spices of life are always welcome in the kitchens of the great musical cookers...
The Slow Motion Replay project's cookers are Kenichi Yanai, Shinya Kusumoto and Takuya Ishibashi. They all have a strong background in the japanese groovy scene.
"Think Better", "Wam" and "Tell me a Bedtime Story" off their "Heavy Duty" album, released by Soulab records, gained massive airplay and contributed for Slow Motion Replay to top Hip Sound's weekly artists' chart on September 26th, 2011 (http://fw2.gr/7pv).
