as opposed to the music i usually like to play, this night's songs were selected with a focus on tonality over rhythm. primarily, the tone i was aiming for was "estranged human nature".
have you ever felt like an alien? like your soul is an alien thing, intrinsically? like you just can't make a connection? sometimes i hear songs that connect with something otherworldly intense and bittersweet at my foundation that i can't quite wrap my heart around. this was a showcase of that connection
