Jayday, J-Honey, Jay Yo, you’ve probably heard the name. He’s been organizing events for over a decade and brought artists like Stand High Patrol, Mala, Gifted & Blessed, Impey, Dj Q and DJ Haus to invigorate the Oulu nightlife. Nowadays he is also the executive producer of the Oulu Music Video Festival, so you know he’s been putting in work. It would be hard to imagine the scene in Oulu without him.
Here are a few words about the mix by the man himself: We journey from a birth in percussion through a disco tinged soundtrack for bike rides past the cool summer patios of the seaside town of Oulu and end up diving under the dark and omnious branches of the tree of lo-fi techno only to look ourselves in the mirror and meet our reflection in velvet electro.
