After listening to Dj SRS's B-Boy mix the other day, it totally left a hook in me, such a wicked mix. Soooo.....it got me thinking, and looking at my poor ol' records, and 1210's, I thought I've got to put one together of all the pivital breaks from back in the day, that shaped/meant something to me. So, yeah, an all vinyl mix from all my favs from back in the day. Starts off with some nice ol' skool lo-fi beats, LL Cool J, etc, not much mixing as such, just luv'in the tunes, then onto bit of James Brown, Satin Storm, Silver Bullet, then some early Bushwaka, then progresses to all the sorta breaks you know me for today. Enjoy people, I absolutly luv'd putting this one together, and thanks again SRS for sowing the seed. Big up. Big Luv. Gruff.X

Yes, yes, Halligan, breaks really were a first luv for me. My dad's fault; being ferried about in my dad's jag as a five year old, listening to soul, motown, wall of sound, james brown, etc, on the 8-track, and then a good mate later on in life, after experiencing punk, and loving all the electronic music, and hip-hop all through the 80's, convincing me that i should come to my first Raindance in 1990. Really was like finding the last piece of a jigsaw.
