NTS proposal - show demo (Global Instruments)

Please find my show demo featuring the music I would play on the programme (tracklist below), focused on a range of instruments including Chinese Pipa, Brazilian leaf whistle (using leaves to create the melody), Malawian babatoni (one-string bass, using glass bottle to slide along string to change the pitch), Pakistani benju, Swedish nyckelharpa, Neapolitan tamburello (frame drum), Welsh triple harp and pibgorn, South Asian dholki, Indigenous Taiwanese moon lute and nose flute, Senegalese Kora and Estonian jaw harp (parmupill).

In a full show, I would introduce artists, tracks and instruments between selections, and where possible include short recordings of musicians describing their instruments in their own words.
