I finally found some time to connect my controller and my turntables.
My setup is: A numark n4, 2x Stanton T.60 Turntables, 2x Timecoded Vinyls for Traktor Scratch Pro, and Mixxx from Mixxx.org.
I don't have to say as you will realize yourselves after you listen to my mixes that neither the Sync or Keylock (master tempo) is on. It is straight old school house mixing with long transitions from one song to another. Also I am trying to keep my hands away from the platter so I correct the synchronization of the mix only by adjusting the pitch fader. That is why I totally f@cked up one or two mixes.
The software I am using is Mixxx. You can download it for free at mixxx.org. Excellent software and it sounds way better than Virtual Dj imo.
Musicwise this mix is a blend between deep house - tech - disco. Just improvising in order to test my timecode setup.
