So the first song here goes a little meta: Earth, Wind and Fire singing in 1970 sounds equally applicable to now, if not more so. One of the grim experiences I've been having lately has been hearing about a celebrity's death, and honestly having no idea if I had already heard of their passing. It happened just the other week with Eddie Van Halen. I felt like I couldn't have missed hearing that, even not being in the Zuckerverse. And this week it was Howard Johnson. The second tune on here is his, and IMO he quickly vaults past the tuba-as-comic-foil, even playing this tune, but then I've had a lot of years to decondition myself from the giggle response to the instrument.
