Here's Why...

I've been having some mixes pile up on my drive, but I had to interrupt the pipeline for this one. I was looking at old cassette lists in a journal I used to keep in the 90s. And this mix I made for my lovely wife (well before she was my wife) became a go-to in our house for being a soul balm. I don't listen to music going to sleep like I used to, but the sounds of these tracks in this sequence work magic on the memory banks. Just the first ding from Duke Ellington starts the brain easing back. I notice that these lullaby mixes are some of my least-played bits on here, but I'm posting it in any case. The picture is the photo I cut out of an old life magazine, and I always used random bits of advertising copy for the titles.
