Oh, good grief. So, yes, this is an Easy Listening mix. Less a "dad listening to Enoch Light in the rumpus room with a Manhattan", kind of way, and more a "dad looks preposterous in the sued jacket with fringe he bought to go with his avocado vinyl ottoman and wonders if something isn't missing." More 60s than 50s. And tongue is not entirely in cheek, here. I really am fond of this kind of fluffy nonsense. I don't help my case any stealing that Les Baxter cover to use. He is guilty of every egregious musical and socio-political sin available to his means. Why on earth would the sexy alien women not deserve a cocktail? I see what I did there, I guess. Heh. On Earth.
