Vaughan was one of my favorite surrealists; my design hero.who changed the way I looked at art and design. A true visual, creative and typographic pioneer. He pushed graphic design into areas never seen before. His work for the Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil, Pixies, Dead Can Dance, David Sylvian, Pieter Nooten (Xymox) and many others was cutting edge and so beautiful.Vaughan helped create an identity & aesthetic for 4AD Records.
He passed away too soon; at age of 62. His loss shakes me to the core. Safe journey Vaughan Oliver (v23) September 12, 1957 - December 29, 2019
