“Inspired by the infinite multiplicity of our universe, I wanted to create a mix that showed how varied the music on our planet can be, while still having a common thread running through each track: authenticity and ingenuity. This mix is made up of tunes from all over the globe, from Kiribati to Peru, Cotonou to San Francisco and many places in between. Though the genres hop back and forth from solo acoustic songs recorded on cassette tape, experimental ambient pieces, jazz freak outs and boogie, the originality that is contained in each song ensures consistently excellent music. One thing I love about music in different languages from different cultures is how they still resonate universally through the dialect of creativity. I truly hope you enjoy this mix and maybe discover a new artist/genre/sound to become joyfully obsessed with, as I have.”
