The hottest and coolest NEW leaks and releases that found their way to my net this week in one easy to digest hour. Full throttle music for analog brains, with the brake pedals pulled out.
In the "better known" territory we got something from the new Strypes album, and new singles from Prince and my favorite NZ Janglers, Chills.
From the US: Funk (Rock Candy Funk Party), Electronic (Alaska Thunderfuck), Indie (Antarctigo Vespucci), Punk, (New Swears), Psychedelic Rock (Talk In Tongues) and Post-Punk (Grave Babies).
We also go globetrotting, with two Psychedelic bands from Germany (Black Space Riders, Plainride), Reggae from Greece (Blend Mishkin & Roots Evolution), Indie from Canada (Jude Davison), Noise Rock from Norway (Arabrot), Shoegaze from Lithuania (N R C S S S T), Alternative Rock from Australia (Deaf Wish), and Psychobilly from UK (Guitar Slingers).
Special mention must go to the closer - UK Experimental Rock outfit Komara headed by King Crimson drummer Pat Mastelotto.
