Podcast from Games for Change ANZ Panel Discussion 2013
"Many of our experiences in games are often competitive rather than collaborative endeavours. While games can assist in the development of strong dispositions toward a domain or field, they can also be tools of community and identity building. Gamification, the bringing of game atoms into non-game contexts is proving a valuable instrument in community development. Education, enterprise, and not-for-profits are all exploring this new possibility to cultivate and strengthen roles, ties, and engagement in community. And it is community and connectedness in the end, that is at the heart of social good and change in the world."
