They told me thet Brussels is a great city for digging, end they didn't lie. Between two very nice DJ gigs at Epaulé Jété and Bonnefooi, Markey Funk and the I managed to raid two stores - the Jukebox and the Collector. While Markey focussed on the 45s, I mainly found 12" viny: some Rai, some South African and some greek-tinged jazz, and a few gems from the arab world. In addition, I purchased new vinyl from labels Sublime Frequency, Sahel Sounds and Planet Ilunga from our hosts Seb and Bart. Enjoy this trip from Greece to Iraq, Algeria to the Sahara Desert, Congo to South Africa and finally Indonesia! The cover was snatched from Salim Halami's album "En Arab".
