Episode 2.6: Especially Consider Pert

It was Women’s Week on Trinity FM, so the lads explained their knowledge of all things womanly with their special guest, the mysterious Pert . In the spirit of the week, all our topics involved female artists/issues, so, of course, B*witched’s “C’est La Vie” snuck its way onto the playlist. Connor praised the feminist narratives of both "Captain Marvel" and "Fifty Shades of Grey", while Peter discussed Jessie Ware’s "Table Manners" podcast before celebrating the great equalising effect of Crocs (🤔). Pert praised the Oscar-winning short film "Period. End of Sentence." before lamenting the lack of awards-show love for Debra Granik’s "Leave No Trace". Thanks to Ursula Dale and Jessica Timlin for stepping in for hosting duties. And, yes: everything discussed on this episode is official For Your Consideration canon, especially Connor and Peter's love of the "Fifty Shades" saga.
