Django Reinhardt passed away on the 16th May 1953, aged just 43. To celebrate his music, we have selected 10 versions of his most famous composition, Nuages. Many performers have re-interpretated this classic, and this shows the eternal legacy Django has left amongst musicians. Trying to learn this at the moment, easily Django's most delightful melody.Great shame you didn't include the version by Charlie Byrd, a really beautiful fingerstyle version, check it out on the album:- The Guitar Artistry of Charlie Byrd.I think Martin Taylor is probably the best from this very diverse compilation.
