One way I practice is to mix streamed tracks off Beatport. I'll import the top 100 tracks and just have at it. Not having listened to the tracks before there's no curation and no pre-programming of cues, I'll Just phrase match and see what I like. If I don't like it I'll try and mix out as soon as I can, if I like it I'll let it run and mark it for my library. The transitions can be ropey but it's great fun. I made this mix to listen to in the car today, I quite liked it so I'm uploading it here.
