Favelas was born during pandemic times.

Music and friendship were and still are the strong bond that has kept us alive and well
during these very hard times. We are honored to share our original music and we feel
fortunate to be able to make what we love.

Our music is influenced and inspired by different genres: Alternative, Spanish Rock, Ska, Cumbia, Jazz and Blues. Our sound is filled with different slangs and variations in each song in order to keep the audience dancing.

We are 7 musicians friends. Our uniqueness comes from our distinctive and diverse backgrounds. We compliment each other because the love for music brings us together and we share a similar understanding in how to transmit our vibe. We dedicate ourselves and pour our soul into making music that we can share with our fanbase so they can enjoy.
