We managed to get through a whole Olympics without medalling with any puns but we cannot let this moment pass without mentioning a couple of highlights from the games (no we're not going to bring up Aussie Raygun hoodwinking breakdance fans with a routine closer to a Michael Clark ballet):
1. Ukrainian gymnast Onofriichuk's Thriller routine - if you haven't seen it yet, google it!
2 Phil Wizard's winning breakdance (special mentions to Victor Montalvo).
3. Tiny Thomas Cruise abseiling down a piece of cotton at the closing ceremony
And beyond the world of sport we said ta-ta and farewell to judo expert and inventor of the internet Jack 'Democracy Manifest/Succulent Chinese Meal/Are you waiting to receive my limp penis' Karlson.
But bigger and more important than all of this was seeing the good people of the UK turn up in large numbers in a show of solidarity against the racist idiots on this island. Its enough to make you feel patriotic! And on that note...here's Ben Arnold!
