This sonic prayer is an activation for stepping through the New Moon Solar Eclipse portal. Woven in the final hours before we hit the totality of the final Eclipse of 2020. In the last days of 2020, we have the opportunity to reflect on the shadows and rise up, bringing the gifts and blessings from the depth of this year, into activation. This is a prayer for blossoming, rebirth and new beginnings. With the new year visible on the horizon we visualize our intentions for the new cycle dawning and bring them to life through the dance.
This set was curated for the Portland Ecstatic Dance. This set takes you on a full spectrum journey with steady tribal house beats carrying you through the gradual eclipsing of the sun. To the darkness and chaos of the sun in its totality, brining with it influences from my West Coast bass roots. And finally delivering us like newborns with the first rays of the returning light into the melodies of the new earth.
