ESB23 was made to promote the 21st anniversary of the release of The Earlies debut album “These Were The Earlies”. Compiled by band member John Mark Lapham, it features a wide spectrum of sounds ranging from the Paul Williams-penned sunny psychedelic gem “Someday Man” (originally recorded by The Monkees), to the sonic doom dub “Black Sabbath” by Snares, that samples Aphex Twin and Black Sabbath.

I love this. And every one of your secret broadcasts going back many many many years. I have re-listened to all of them many times and never fail to be delighted and here something I didn’t notice the previous time. And I’m feeling very blessed that the wyrd sisters conspired to land me in London next week just long enough to hear you in Hackney. Can’t wait.

Hell yeah! Glad you can make it. Make sure and come say hi to us. At least some of us should be slinging merch at the merch table once we pack up after the show.
