Cerpintxt is an electroacoustic post-ape progress report from the cosmic madhouse, through the medium of voice, auto-destruction, wind-guided, meekly ritualistic, discordant experiments. Her work is concerned with generating an invented language of a particular strain of softness through phonetic entropy and cumulative aleatoricism. Decomposing and recomposing the material to reveal the latent features which persist regardless of this ongoing decontextualization, reallocating gaze from meaning to contour while nevertheless morphologically evoking the words. The resultant proto-conversation materializes one of the countless other types of code accessible to us, as more visceral, and primitively shared methods of signification.
