Dave Douglas is so underated.... and this is a fab tune...the drum solos roll into a frenzy battle of urban rhythm .......and then you plant a shot of the adderley to follow...wow!
jon Abercrombie has worked with some great musicians over his career but with Dan Wall on keys and Adam Nussbaum on drums is a winning combination with this track..
new orleans strut I can almost imagine bill bruford covering(stealing) this tune in his earthworks project..
