On the Fly & off the cuff

A Live On the fly mix I did 21 years ago - using 2 cdjs, a sampler/fx box/looper & a mixer (with fx) I blindly selected each track without seeing what it was & worked them into the mix - with sometimes 3 sources playing at once it creates lots of tension & release moments, threatening to fall apart & derail at any moment, but seeming to hold itself together all the while taking the listener on a roller coaster ride that I think, mimics the craziness & tumultuous world we are living in - constantly evolving, twisting & turning back into itself, yet maintaining a sense of fluidity.
I hope this doesn't sound too pretentious, but when you listen, you will understand!
